Stellar entry. The hiatus seems to have done some good.

I wouldn't worry about PETA causing an uproar about the mouse in the vegetable soup though. As long as the cooks tried boiling the soup first (as they usually do), the mouse would obviously be fine.[Note 1]

There's no way in h e double-hockey sticks[Note 3] that Ghost Camp is 66 pages, unless you're reading some abridged version[Note 4]

Notes[edit | edit source]

  1. Probably a joke about the mouse being food-safe if it was boiled.
  2. User "j" must be a disinformation agent. The only Goosebumps books to be ~60 pages are the Goosebumps Presents books. Ghost Camp was not a part of this series, but maybe the user was thinking of the Presents version of Welcome to Camp Nightmare.
  3. H E L L
  4. Troy is right. Plus, if Ghost Camp actually ended on page 66, it'd be pretty anticlimactic...

    But the Twist is:
A bat gets loose in the mess hall, and Uncle Marv hits it with a broom. Then the camp is presumably shut down by PETA.
