It's about time you slipped in a Guided By Voices reference. Too bad you didn't do anything with Uncle Leo, though.

Oh, and when the day comes that you've run out of Goosebumps books to review, if you're still having fun doing this is there any chance of the blog continuing on with reviews of R.L. Stine's other horror series, Fear Street?

Maybe it's an inside joke I have not understood, but Mr. Ghostwriter should redo his geography class 'cause Borneo is in Southeast Asia...

That one was my fault, I got mixed up with the clones.[Note 1]

I will not be covering Fear Street. I will however be doing Ghosts of Fear Street,[Note 2] as they are more in line with the books covered by this blog. I've "reserved" the books I intend to cover during the life of the blog in the sidebar, in case you're curious what other non-Goosebumps Stine classics will receive the Blogger Beware treatment.

Since this seems to be a blog that attracts (male) listeners of indie music, I'd like it if everyone - including Troy - listed his favorite albums of 2008 thus far.

Here are mine:

1) DODOS - Visiter
2) VAMPIRE WEEKEND - S/T
3) PAINT IT BLACK - New Lexicon
4) ELLIOT [sic] BROOD - Mountain Meadows
5) OKKERVIL RIVER - The Stand-Ins
6) CONSTANTINES - Kensington Heights
7) BONNIE PRINCE BILLY - Lie Down in the Light
8) BON IVER - For Emma, Forever Ago
9) HARVEY MILK - Life...The Best Game in Town
10) SHEARWATER - Rook[Note 3]

Notes[edit | edit source]

  1. Near the start of the review, Troy mentions how Monty's mom is going to Borneo. Troy must have mistakenly said South America rather than Southeast Asia, where Borneo actually is. Troy got confused because the clones go to South America at the end of the book. (No archives of this goof seem to exist, so this is inferred from the comments.)
  2. Never happened, unfortunately.
  3. These hyperlinks were added by this wiki for your convenience.
  4. Again, hyperlinks added by us. (Sorry if any of them have stopped working in the future.)
